As a funeral director I have three different ways of paying for a funeral.
OPTION 1 SPANISH FUNERAL INSURANCE (PLUS REGISTER WITH THE ENGLISH FUNERAL DIRECTOR)
Aged 50-55 years €10.85 per month
Aged 55-60years €14.90 per month
Aged 60-65 years €17.00 per month
Aged 65-70 years €19.70 per month
Over 71years not possible to do the insurance
Small monthly payments, covered from day one worldwide. Includes the following
The funeral directors professional services
Removal of the deceased to the funeral directors premises worldwide
Mortuary expenses – Five days
Hygienic preparation
Care of the deceased for visit by family and friends
The Administration of the Insurance plan
Supply of a quality coffin suitable for cremation
Hearse on the day of the funeral to crematorium
Church service and minister fee
Cremation fee & Doctors certificates
Provision of a standard urn
Provision of necessary staff on the day of the funeral
Advice on registration, documentation & certificate for the funeral
All legal documents necessary for the funeral to take place
All disbursements associated with the above arrangements
OPTION 2 GOLDEN LEAVES FUNERAL PLANS(SEE ATTACHMENT 1 PRICE LIST 2016)
INTEREST FREE OVER 5 YEARS
Fixed funeral costs, once paid never pay another penny, also covers fully in the UK.
OPTION 2 REGISTER ONLY WITH THE ENGLISH FUNERAL DIRECTOR
In my role as the funeral director, I offer a complete service to the family of the deceased, guiding them through the whole funeral process, and dealing with all the necessary regulatory matters as well as the funeral itself.
Our services cover the whole of Costa Calida, Costa Blanca South and the Costa Almeria regions of Spain, irrelevant of funeral provider, funeral plan or insurance.
We are on call 24 hours a day, and, once contacted, will be with you every step of the way. Once appointed we will deal with the necessary registration paperwork, bring the deceased to the chapel of rest pre-determined by yourself, and conduct preparations and service in a manner which you would expect from an experienced English trained professional.
We will organise every detail as you require, including hymns, poems, an English speaking minister and personalised service sheets, as well as arrange flowers, donations , funeral teas and be there with you throughout the service. Afterwards we will collect all legal paperwork, certificates and ashes, presenting them to your specifications, and dedicate an obituary to your loved one. Our service is personal and discreet and you remain assured of our professionalism at all stages of the funeral process.
Pre-Selection of Funeral Director and registration.
Pre-appointment of the English Funeral Director will ensure that the bereaved have complete control over the location of a funeral, regardless of whether the deceased has insurance cover, funeral plan or no pre-determined arrangements at all. This is a simple process which involves an initial consultation, the preparation of a document affirming the specific wishes of the parties involved followed by the issuing of authorisation documentation and a card which will ensure the English Funeral Director is called at the necessary time and will conduct the funeral according to the pre-determined wishes of the parties.
For this provision We charge 150 Euros for a couple, or 100 Euros for an individual, with 100 Euros allowable against the cost of a Spanish funeral should our professional services be eventually required.
